Brief Overview:
The project engineer will provide mechanical and industrial engineering leadership to efficiently utilize all resource in the area of responsibility to produce the highest quality, lowest cost cooking appliances while creating maximum employee and customer satisfaction.

In this position, you'll have the opportunity to: 
*Provide engineering leadership within the plant to explore ways to improve productivity, PPM, SIR, safety, and employee morale by implementation of Lean manufacturing system.
*Responsible for the ongoing support of a Kaizen Event team and the implementation of all CCM tools in the plant.
*Responsible for model costing, line balances, work station rearrangement, implementation of standard work, and working on critical quality issues.
*Require good understanding of plant KAN BAN system and how to improve these systems when Cell Design activities are ongoing.
*Assist in design review of new product implementations
*Assist in engineering builds, pre-pilots, pilots, TPM and maintenance activities as required in the department

What you need to succeed in this position:
*A.B.S. in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
*Expertise in a manufacturing related environment with a good understanding of plant operations
*Excellent interpersonal skills
*Able to work in a team based decision- making environment where all levels in the department have input into critical decisions, such as area layouts, work assignment, and team meeting
