Position: Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering

Description: The University of Mississippi invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant professor position in the Electrical Engineering Department. The Department has an engineering science-oriented, ABET-accredited undergraduate program and a well-established graduate program in electromagnetic theory and applications, and wireless/networking. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related area and a commitment to scholarly research and teaching in Applied Electromagnetics. The position will require work in the area of Microwave Active Devices and experimental applications. The ability to teach in the area of analog electronics is required.

Starting Date: Mid-August 2003

Salary: Commensurate with experience.

Closing Date: Review of applications will begin no later than Jan. 1, 2003, and the position will remain open until a candidate is selected or an adequate applicant pool is established.
