Specifics:
Job Duration - summer only (Mid-May thru Mid-August)
Work time - Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM until 4:00 PM.
Wage - $10.00 per hour (no benefits).
Requirements for the summer IT resource are:
College student - good enough grades to return to school next
fall.
Major - Information Technology or related
Systems - Intel based PCs
Microsoft operating systems - 95, 98, NT, W2K, XP (at least one)
Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel
Students will work primarily with Borg-Warner IT techs supporting
end-user workstations.
Typical Tasks:
Inventory equipment (300+ PCs), perform routine maintenance, update all
software, check configuration, and other duties assigned by IT
supervisor.
