Faculty Awards (Fall 2005)
  • Dr. Mustafa Matalgah, Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering, received a Best Paper award for a paper coauthored with graduate student Mahmoud Ismail at theIEEE Symposium on Computers and Communications (ISCC 2005), La Manga del Mar Menor, Spain


  • Dr. Kai-Fong Lee, Dean of the School of Engineering and Professor of Electrical Engineering, received the HKIE Transactions Prize from the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers for a recent paper published in the HKIE Transactions.


  • Dr. Fan Yang, Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering, received an URSI Young Scientist Award to attend the URSI General Assembly in New Delhi, India.


  • Dr. Ahmed Kishk, Professor of Electrical Engineering, received the School of Engineering Senior Faculty Research Award for 2005.


  • Dr. Atef Elsherbeni, Professor of Electrical Engineering, received the School of Engineering Faculty Service Award for 2005.
