In recent years, industry and government agencies have begun to look beyond the technical abilities and background of engineering graduates, and these employers are also very interested in such areas as communication skills, practical experience, design team experience, entrepreneurial skills, and leadership skills of their future employees.

      To address these issues, the School of Engineering at The University of Mississippi has developed a special course to meet the needs for leadership development in our future engineering graduates to be offered in the 2002-2003 Fall Semester.
