2003 MAS Paper Presentations and Prof Selected Division Chair in Hattiesburg, MS

Nine (9) students and five (5) faculty members of the Department of Electrical Engineering at The University of Mississippi co-authored papers for participation in the 67th Annual Meeting of the Mississippi Academy of Science that was held in Hattiesburg, MS on February 13-14, 2003.
The Mississippi Academy of Sciences (MAS) is an organization of scientists, engineers, technicians, science educators and others from schools and universities, government, industry and business. These individuals, the state's academic institutions, and other MAS institutional members support science in state of Mississippi. The academys annual meeting provides a forum for members and other participants to exchange ideas and information. Abstracts of the presented papers at this meeting are published in the Journal of the Mississippi Academy of Sciences.
Dr. Atef Z. Elsherbeni, Professor of Electrical Engineering and Associate Director for the Center for Applied Electromagnetic Systems Application (CAESR) at The University of Mississippi, was selected to serve as the Chair for the Physics and Engineering Division of the Mississippi Academy for 2003-2004.
