  • Dr. Mustafa Matalgah, Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering, served on a recent National Science Foundation (NSF) Panel Review.


  • Dr. Alexander Yakovlev, Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering, was named an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques.


  • Dr. John Daigle, Professor of Electrical Engineering, has been invited to speak at the banquet for the 20th Computer Communications Workshop to be held in October, 2005 in Orange County, California.


  • Graduate student Shaohua Li and Prof. Robert W. Scharstein, from the Electrical Engineering Department, University of Alabama, recently visited the EE department and presented a graduate seminar on "Eigenmodes of Linear Arrays of Loop Antennas."


  • Professor O. A. Mohammed, from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Florida International University, recently visited in the Electrical Engineering Department and presented a graduate seminar entitled "Dynamic Simulation of Integrated Drives Utilizing Computational Physical Models of Electrical Equipment."


  • Ulf Carlberg, a Visiting Scholar in the EE department from the Antenna Group, Department of Electromagnetics, Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden, "Moment Method Analysis of Antennas in Reverberation Chambers."
